Cumberland Hearing Aid Center

About Us

Before coming to Tennessee I worked for sixteen years as a Certified Medical Assistant and Office Manager in Michigan.  I managed multiple offices and had a very interesting array of professional experiences.  I left my job and all I loved to move south in order to help my parents. One day I brought my father in to see Charles Lovingood, BC-HIS in order to have his hearing aids repaired.  Charles, Pat and I "clicked", we discussed the possibility of my becoming a Hearing Instrument Specialist and purchasing the practice from them so they could retire.  We worked tirelessly toward that end and accomplished it.  So now I'm a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist and the proud owner of Cumberland Hearing Aid Center.  This is an office with 34 years of history of tirelessly helping the hearing impaired to change their lives.  I am determined to continue and improve upon the traditions that have been set in order to serve the wonderful people of Cumberland County, my adopted home.

Working beside me is a native Tennessean, the son of Charles and Pat Lovingood, Chuck II.  He has been working hard as he's grown into the role of the receptionist.  Chuck is the one who greets you as you enter the office with a smile, answers the phones with kindness to schedule your appointments, verifies insurance benefits and keeps the charts and paper work flowing in order to keep everything well- coordinated.  This is a relatively new career for Chuck and he has worked hard in order to grow into this position.  He brings a history of working as a teacher and also in the US Chess Federation office here in Crossville, TN.  I am pleased to be able to continue working with another family member of the Lovingoods!  Call us at (931) 484-2102 to schedule an appointment.
